Atlee directorial & Varun Dhawan starrer VD 18 release postponed, shoot delayed, this is why

After receiving an immense amount of love for Jawan film, filmmaker Atlee is all set to return with ‘VD 18.’ His upcoming film will be led by Varun Dhawan. This will be the second time Atlee casts a Bollywood actor after Shah Rukh Khan.
VD 18 is directed by Kalees. Earlier it was known that the movie would be released by May of 2024. However, now fans will have to wait a little longer. According to reports, the film’s shot has been postponed to next year. Therefore, the release of the film will take some more time.
Varun Dhawan will be seen as a cop for the very first time, which will astound the fans. The movie also features Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.
Atlee’s next VD 18 is made on a broader spectrum. The makers are aiming at perfection and do not want to take any minor setbacks. According to Bollywood Hungama, the filmmakers are considering every detail. Their objective is to refine every aspect of the film. Earlier the film’s shoot was supposed to end by December. However, due to recent developments, the shoot has been delayed.
As the shoot of the movie has been postponed, the makers have also decided to shift the release date. The movie is said to be released by the last quarter of 2024.
