These films also help in understanding the current scenario of the country and how it’s coping with difficulties at international boundaries.

As per reported by Mid-Day, the Border 2’s shooting will begin in the first half of 2024. Sunny Deol will be taking the lead once again alongside other cast members. It has also been known that the film will be dwelling on the 1971 India-Pakistan War. Whereas Nidhi has plans on creating the biggest war film India has ever seen.

The report further claims that, unlike its first instalment, the sequel will rightfully showcase the conglomeration of the Indian Army, Air and Navy forces. It will also be showcasing some personal stories of war heroes.

The script was written by Nidhi and was finalized in April 2023. It also required immense work to get permission from the Amry to shoot at actual locations. Even the names of the soldiers are real, which required a year-long wait that delayed the production of the film.

Sunny Deol is all set to reprise his role and charm the audience. The actor made a blockbuster comeback this year with Gadar 2 and was highly appreciated by his fans. Ayushman Khurrana has also been considered for the film, whose contract will be decided by next week. Anurag Singh will be directing the film, who even helmed the Akshay Kumar led Kesari.
