The trailer of Taapsee Pannu and Vijay Sethupathi’s forthcoming Tamil film Annabelle Sethupathi, which is going to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 17, get disclosed on Monday. The film appears to be an interesting horror-comedy.
The trailer of Annabelle Sethupathi was released in five different languages. While Tamil superstar Suriya disclosed the Tamil version, Mohanlal and Venkatesh Daggubati released the Malayalam and Telugu versions of the trailer, respectively. Vijay Sethupathi, who will be seen in the lead role in the film, shared the Hindi and Kannada versions of the trailer.
Taapsee took to Twitter to share the trailer. The film will be her first project with Vijay Sethupathi. According to the trailer, it appears like the entire plot is set in a haunted palace that was once held by Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee. The film was predominantly shot in and around Jaipur. It also features Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Yogi Babu, Vennela Kishore and Rajendra Prasad.
Earlier, Taapsee was seen in the Tamil film Game Over. She will be soon seen in a Tamil film titled Jana Gana Mana. It is reported to be a remake of Akshay Kumar’s Baby; the film stars Jayam Ravi in the lead. It has been directed by I Ahmed. In Telugu, Taapsee is part of a thriller named Mishan Impossible directed by Swaroop RSJ. Whereas, Vijay Sethupathi is nowadays shooting for Kamal Hassan’s upcoming Tamil action thriller Vikram. The film also features Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist.
