Anees Bazmee resumes shoot for Bhool Bhulaiya says “We are missing work a lot, and dying to start”

Anees Bazmee is rescheduling to complete the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiya’s sequel, the unit barely shot this year because of the restrictions due to COVID-19, and the second-wave crisis wreaked havoc yet again.

While talking to Hindustan times Anees Bazmee says that he has spoken to his producers and they are gonna start the work soon “I have spoken to my line producers and producer Murad Khetani. We will meet in a couple of days and then decide how we are going to start work. Our efforts are on for that” he said. Later he adds that he has pretty done with Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani’s part he just has to take few shots in Lucknow and Mumbai, “That’s what we are planning, which one to shoot first. If we have to do it in Mumbai, we will need to book a stage accordingly. The film would have released by now, but almost two years have gone into the pandemic… that’s where we faced problems” says the director Anees Bazmee.

With things getting gradually better with the situation we are in Bazmee wants to get to work as soon as possible especially for daily wage workers on set, “We also pray for the daily wage workers… their livelihood will begin again and that’s very important. This pandemic broke a lot of people — physically and mentally. The lives of these poor people has become tougher. Those who can afford to not work, their struggles are also different. Par gareeb logon ki struggle bauhaut badi hai” says the filmmaker.

Later adds saying he misses the tea he get on the sets and calls it different than the tea he makes at home “The tea we drink on a set is entirely different from the best cup of tea we prepare in our office or home. Uski baat hi kuchh aur hoti hai. We are missing work a lot, and dying to start”
