Amitabh Bachchan kicks off ‘May Day’ shoot: First days on sets are such a nightmare

Amitabh Bachchan reveals that he still gets the jitters on his first day on a new film. He has started filming for ‘May Day’.

Amitabh Bachchan has a career spanning decades. But even today, when he commences a new project, the veteran star feels the jitters. Big B penned a post on Instagram, expressing his nervousness. “Dear Lord .. these first days on new films are always such a nightmare ..Petrified and in constant apprehension ..wondering what shall happen and if it happens will it be acceptable and passed ..Want to run away and hide.”

On his blog, Big B thanked his followers for their prayers and support. “Well when you are in your 79th ; and the 52nd year in the business, it shows .. not in its comfort but in its discomfort .. May the prayers yearned for from the Ef, play along .. give me the needed strength.”

The actor started shooting for Ajay Devgn’s directorial, ‘May Day’. It also stars Rakul Preet Singh. Replying to Amitabh Bachchan’s post on Twitter, Rakul shared, “Sirrrrr yeh baat mujhe kehni chahiye. soooo thrilled , nervous , excited to kickstart work with you.” ‘May Day’ will have Ajay Devgn essaying the role of a pilot. While Rakul plays the role of his co-pilot. Details about Big B’s character has not been revealed.
