Bell Bottom, which was supposed to be released on July 27 but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will now go for a theatrical release on August 19. Taking to his Instagram, the ‘Entertainment actor shared the announcement of the films release date.
His caption read, “Mission: To entertain you on the big screen. Date: August 19, 2021. Announcing the arrival of BellBottom.”

Taking it to comments several fans poured love for the 53-years-old actor. One wrote, “First Blockbuster from Bollywood after Pandemic,” while another tweeted, “Finally Theatres Are Back”. A third commented, “Strongly Waiting For #BellBottom…Now Bring The Trailer Asap And Start The Promotions”.
Previously while the actor shared the film’s poster he had tweeted, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. Its teamwork and I am grateful to each and every member of the cast and crew. Bell Bottom completed. Here’s the poster.”
Akshay even gave his fans a new teaser for the film, in which it is stated that Bell Bottom is based on true events. Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani are the producers of ell Bottom, a spy thriller. It is a Ranjit M Tewari directorial which stars Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
