Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is an action-comedy scheduled to hit theatres during the festival of Holi on March 18.

Bachchan Pandey also stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.
In the film, Akshay Kumar plays the role of a gangster who wishes to be an actor. Arshad Warsi is also a struggling actor in the film. Whole, Kriti Sanon plays the role of a journalist who aspired to be a director.
The film was earlier scheduled to release in January. But due to rising Covid cases, makers decided to postpone the film.
