The whole film fraternity is going berserk as Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar have teamed up after a long break of fourteen years. A comic genius jodi known for back-to-back box office successes, is all set to bring back the horror-comedy magic with Bhooth Bangla. The title of the film was first revealed by Bollywood, which was later officially unveiled by makers on Akshay’s 57th birthday with the first-look poster.
A source close to the project informed Bollywood Hungama, “The film is not just an out-and-out comic caper but has loads of horror, fantasy and supernatural elements as well.” The report added, “It’s the most ambitious film from the combination of Akshay and Priyadarshan. Ekta Kapoor is going all out to give it the required scale and budget.”
Another report says that the film will go on floors by December on a start-to-finish schedule. “It’s a comic caper like never before as Priyadarshan is exploring an altogether new world of horror and comedy with this film. The title is also as catchy as it gets.”
Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy that is likely to hit in 2025 and will go on floors very soon. It will be produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s banner Balaji Telefilms Ltd.
