Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan’s new key visual revealed; to have a box-office clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan   

Ajay Devgn revealed a new key visual of his much-awaited film Maidaan. The upcoming sports drama will revolve around how football got its recognition and scope in the Indian market. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role.

Taking to his Instagram account, Ajay revealed the official poster of the film. The actor could be seen wearing a normal shirt and pants and he has his foot over a football.

He captioned the picture by writing, “The much-awaited game is about to flag off worldwide. Mark your calendars as #Maidaan takes over fields this Eid, April 2024, promising an inspiring tale that will leave you cheering & celebrating with pride.”

Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of the sports icon Syed Abdul Rahim, the founding father of football in the Indian sports market. He brought about a revolution in football in India with his dedication towards making the country an ace nominee in the world sports history.

Set in the time frame between 1952 and 1962, the film will showcase sir Rahim’s journey to achieving a milestone in football through intense struggles and hardships.

Last year, the makers released the teaser of the biographical film, which received immense love from the audience. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Priyamani and Rudranil Ghosh.

Helmed by Amit Sharma, the film is produced by Zee Studious, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta.

It is slated to release around Eid 2024. The film is going to have a massive clash with Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the teaser for the same will be released tomorrow. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Ronit Roy in key roles.
