Adipurush creators are accused of paying people to delete negative reviews, screenshots go VIRAL

The creators of “Adipurush” came under fire from the Twitterati for the “cringeworthy” speech given to Lord Hanuman and for Saif Ali Khan’s caricature-like performance as Ravan/Lankesh.

Om Raut’s landmark film “Adipurush,” the subject of months of expectation and anticipation, eventually opened in theatres on Friday, June 16, to considerable fanfare. Additionally, a number of online users claim that the ‘Adipurush’ creators offered them money in exchange for removing their negative tweets about the movie.

On Saturday, a few online users shared screenshots of messages they had gotten after posting their bad evaluations of “Adipurush” on their Twitter accounts.

An anonymous text message can be seen in one of the texts, promising the user Rs 9,500 in exchange for removing his tweet critical of the movie.

“Urgent request for you. Can you remove all the negative tweets on Adipurush and post few positive reviews? I can get you 9500/tweet (if done immediately),” the message read.

Another person received a similar offer of Rs 5,500 to remove his post. “Agencies slipping in my DM on behalf of T Series and Adipurush and begging me to delete my tweets for some money, sorry guys you chose the wrong person,” the user stated.

Netizens criticised the creators for attempting to bribe favourable evaluations for their flicks as the screenshots gained popularity. The creators have not yet made an official remark regarding the allegations.

The movie ‘Adipurush’ has ignited a national dispute over the use of what internet users have dubbed ‘tapori dialogues’ by Lord Hanuman. Additionally, viewers identified a number of inconsistencies in the story and complained that the movie frequently veered off the path of the Ramayana.

Additionally, a PIL regarding the incorrect portrayal of Ravan and Hanuman has been submitted to the Delhi High Court.

According to reports, Adipurush” has an astounding budget of more than Rs 500 crore. Prabhas plays Lord Ram in it, and Kriti  Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdatta Nage as Lord Hanuman, among other actors.
