Aamir Khan extends best wishes to Salman Khan for Sikandar

Aamir Khan recently expressed his excitement for Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar, extending his best wishes to the Bollywood superstar. In an informal media interaction, Aamir reflected on his own collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss and shared his anticipation for Salman’s first project with the filmmaker.

Speaking about Murugadoss’ direction, Aamir recalled his experience working with him in Ghajini (2008), a film that set new benchmarks in action thrillers. “It was an exhilarating experience working with Murugadoss, and I am sure Salman’s collaboration with him will be just as thrilling,” he remarked. Aamir’s words underscored the high expectations surrounding Sikandar, which is set to be one of the most expensive Indian films to date, boasting a ₹200 crore production budget.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar features Salman Khan in a dual role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. The film, which completed its principal photography in January 2025, is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on 28 March 2025, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.

Aamir’s endorsement adds to the growing anticipation for Sikandar, as fans eagerly await Salman’s return to the big screen under Murugadoss’ direction.
