The 27 years old South Korean singer, rapper and model from the famous girl group Blackpink, Jennie Kim has established a name for herself not only domestically but globally, whether it’s through music or modelling.
According to some sources, Jennie Kim is confirmed to attend the 76th Cannes Film Festival, as she is all set to make her debut as an actress with the upcoming American drama series ‘The Idol’.
Directed by Sam Nevinson, the upcoming series also stars Lily-Rose Depp, The Weeknd, Suzanna Son, Troye Sivan, Rachel Sennott, and Dan Levy. The drama is said to be about the life of musicians and the Music Industry.
Last month Thierry Frémaux, the Cannes delegate confirmed that The Idol will be premiered at the French Film Festival, which is going to be held on from May 16 to May 27, 2023.
Jennie recently made her iconic and much-anticipated debut at the Met Gala, gracing the red carpet by wearing a 1990 vintage Chanel collection.
