The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: The only Asian-American star Crystal Minkoff bids adieu to the reality show

Bravo-verse is in trouble water as the housewives are jumping ships. The first Asian- American star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal Kung Minkoff, bids a “bittersweet” goodbye to her journey of three years from the long running reality show.

The reality star took to her Instagram to announce her departure from the show by extending a “heartfelt thanks” to the network. “I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” said Crystal in the video on Monday.

She added that it was very much unexpected on her part to be offered the show, and to allow her for three years for simply a cherry on the icing. She also addressed the weight on her shoulder for being the only Asian American contestant on the reality TV show and labelled her being called back every year as “blessing.”

The Real Coco founder made her RHOBH debut in season 11. She is married to Rob Minkoff, who is the original co-director of the original animated The Lion King.

Crystal reprised her presence with Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke on season 13.
