It should be noted that Kylie Jenner appeared to have the same number of followers as Selena Gomez. Selena and Kylie’s follower count changed, as originally noticed by celebrity fan account popfaction.

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their joy over Selena Gomez regaining her position as the most followed lady on Instagram.
Selena recently opened up in an interview for Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Cover 2023 on how she handled internet abuse during one of her breakups. She gave the following justification for handing over control of her social media accounts to assistants: she said, “I went through a hard time in a breakup and I didn’t want to see any of the [feedback]—not necessarily about the relationship, but the opinions of me versus [someone] else. There’d be thousands of really nice comments, but my mind goes straight to the mean one.”
Selena added that although she didn’t mind if she was called “ugly” or “stupid,” people tended to go extremely “detailed” about it. “They write in such detail and with such intent. I would be sobbing nonstop. I was anxious all the time… I was unable to continue. My time was wasted, she remarked.
TikTok is the only social networking app on her phone because she finds it “a little less hostile.”
