India is contending for three awards at the most prestigious awards ceremony in the world, the 95th Academy Awards, this week. All That Breathes, The Elephant Whisperers, and RRR’s song Naatu Naatu are up for awards for best documentary feature, best original song, and best documentary short subject, respectively.
Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the event, and presenters include Deepika Padukone, Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Michael B. Jordan, Jonathan Majors, and Riz Ahmed.
During the opening monologue, host Jimmy Kimmel left the stage while being accompanied by Naatu Naatu dancers while the audience applauded for the song.
