At a Beverly Hills private home last night, the actress staged a lavish launch party for her JLO Jennifer Lopez footwear collection with Revolve. The singer looked stunning at the event in a one-shouldered metallic dress with an asymmetrical mesh cutout at the torso and a flowing pleated skirt with a slit that climbed over her hip to her waist, evoking the manner of spectacular ’70s stage appearances.
She accessorised the ombré rose gold, gold, and silver gown with a pair of silver platform shoes and a matching pair of metallic hot trousers worn below the severe slit. She wore many rings and a striking set of hanging gold hexagonal earrings as her accessories. She had her honey blonde hair pulled up neatly, pink blush, and a frosty nude lip for her makeup.
A display of designs from the JLO Jennifer Lopez for Revolve capsule might have nearly been a part of the room’s black and ivory decor. The celebration was held within a dazzlingly crisp but welcoming living area. Atop branded pillars adorned with white blooms, a bejewelled knee-high here, a netted bootie or stiletto shoe there, plus more, were perched. Lopez says of the 16-style selection, “I wanted to bring confidence and sexiness to this collection.” “You can also see the history and influence. Like the ‘60s and ‘70s with a modern flair.”
The focal point of the evening was an 80-foot pool outside with daybeds that visitors stayed on as the night expanded, overlooking what felt like all of Los Angeles. Early partygoers had the pleasure of relaxing here to watch the sunset while Champagne tray bearers rushed around. Before the night was out, a group of synchronised swimmers performed after Lopez arrived. As the swimmers entered the stage (well, pool) while wearing a pair of shoes from the collection (while performing in water, no less), Tiffany Haddish, who was present, shouted out her catchphrase, “She readyyyy!”
