Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer were almost more than just friends!
“I had a major crush on Jen. At some point we were both crushing hard on each other,” Schwimmer revealed during the recent “Friends” reunion special, which premiered on HBO Max on Thursday.
“But it was like two ships passing,” he continued. “One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected
The `Murder Mystery` star then recalled a conversation she had with Schwimmer about their eventual first kiss. “Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, `It is going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television. Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop,” said Aniston.
The 52-year-old star Aniston, chimed in first to suggest that Schwimmer jump in. “I mean, in the first season, I had a major crush on Jen. At some point, we were crushing hard on each other. But it was like two ships passing, because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that,” Schwimmer admitted. “Bullshit,” Matt LeBlanc joked under his breath.
Aniston confirmed that this “crushing hard” feeling was mutual, while Matt LeBlanc – who played Joey Tribbiani–joked that Schwimmer’s claims of respecting relationship boundaries were “bulls….”
