Katy Perry plans to quit American Idol after being the judge of the show for six years.
Katy highlights how the producer of the show made her appear like a ‘nasty judge’ by editing her parts purposely. This season cams to her with a series of controversy. As per DailyMail, Katy cannot stand the backlash from viewers on how she reacts to the participants.
Though it is not new to Katy. She has faced criticism in past seasons also. During season 21, she was accused of mom-shaming to Sara Beth Liebe. She told the young mother of three that she had been laying on the table too much. Another incident occurred during Hollywood week as she told struggler Carina DeAngelo and Nutsa Buzaladze that their performance was not good and their energy was broken. Both the incident, made netizensad and they slammed Katy on social media. Even some fans wanted her to be replaced.

One of the insider said, Katy has made her final decision and is ready to quit. She is ready to leave the show even after her paycheck is $25 million per season.
