Gigi Hadid posts bold bikini pics on Instagram following arrest – Take a look

After Customs and Border Control officers found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Hadid’s suitcase, they detained her and fined her $1,000 USD.

Gigi Hadid, the supermodel, didn’t seem troubled by her recent run-in with the law. Hadid used Instagram to post a carousel of images and videos from her trip with friends, some of which featured her in a bikini. “All’s well that ends well,” she said as the post’s caption.

The casual swimwear photographs were shot a few days after Hadid was detained and fined USD $1,000 for having marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her luggage when she arrived in the Caribbean.

On Friday, Hadid posted two pictures of herself in a swimsuit to Instagram. In one image, Hadid was seen posing outside in a two-piece string bikini, while in another, she was seen beaming while displaying a sizable dragon tattoo on her forearm.

She posted a mirror selfie of herself and two friends posing in their swimsuits on Tuesday, along with a sun emoji and the words “Good Morning.” She also shared more shots of herself posing in various swimsuits.

When Hadid arrived in the Cayman Islands on July 10 via private plane from the United States, according to court documents obtained by People, CBC reportedly found “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja” after manually searching her bags and running them through a scanner.

The quantities, according to the outlet, “were relatively small and appeared to be for personal consumption.” According to Cayman Marl Road, similar materials were found in the baggage of Leah Nicole McCarthy, another person in Hadid’s group. Both women were sent to the Prisoner Detention Centre after being detained on suspicion of “ganja importation and ganja consumption utensils importation.”

They both appeared in summary court on July 12 to enter guilty pleas after being released on bail. Each was given a $1,000 fine, but there was no formal conviction. Hadid and McCarthy were arraigned in George Town, according to Cayman Islands courts, although the allegations against them were not disclosed to PEOPLE.

According to a spokeswoman for Hadid, “Gigi was travelling with marijuana that she had legally purchased in New York City with a Medical licence.” In Grand Cayman, it has also been authorised for medical usage since 2017. She enjoyed herself on the island, and her record is still spotless.

After the event, Hadid’s escape seemed to go according to plan. The mother of one has just posted more pictures from the trip’s highlights on Instagram.
