Ellen DeGeneres’ new stand up routine includes a rant about getting booted from Hollywood for being “mean” after her 2020 toxic workplace controversy.

The former host of Ellen DeGeneres Show, who performed at Largo at the Coronet Theater in West Hollywood Wednesday, complained to viewers that she was “kicked out of show businesses” not just once, but twice.

“There here’s no mean people in show business. The ‘be kind’ girl wasn’t kind,” said Ellen on stage during her new tour ‘Ellen’s Last Stand Up Tour, via Rolling Stones.

She added that she had become this one- dimensional individual who gave away stuff and danced up the steps. “Do you know how hard it is to dance up steps? Would a mean person dance up steps?” she continued.

Ellen also mentioned that had she had ended her show by saying “Go f–k yourself,” people would have been “pleasantly surprised.”

The Finding Dory voice actor also reminded the audience that this is not the first time that she has been booted out by the industry. She recalled being booted by TV industry back in the 90s when she came out as “gay,” hence ending her sitcom ‘Ellen’.

Ellen experienced her second downfall in 2020.
