Drake’s 6-year-old son Adonis releases debut single ‘My Man Freestyle’

Drake’s six-year-old son, Adonis Graham, has recorded his debut single, in which Toronto Raptors rookie Gradey Dick features.

The Raptors selected Kansas swingman Dick with the 13th choice in the 2023 draught. The Raptors are hoping he can develop alongside Scottie Barnes and help the team re-establish itself as a reliable playoff threat and title contender.

Raptors fans have enthusiastically embraced the 19-year-old lottery pick, hoping to see him develop into a crucial building component. In reality, Drake has greeted the newbie by following him on Instagram and sending him a direct message.

Drake’s hospitality does not end there. Dick also appears in Drake’s kid Adonis Graham’s debut single music video. The song “My Man Freestyle” depicts Graham, six, with a slew of other kids shooting basketball.

Both Raptors rookie Dick and Drake make brief appearances in the film. In one image, Drake, Adonis, and Gradey are shown sitting in front of a backdrop similar to what teams use for post-game news conferences.

With a friendship developing between Drake and Toronto Raptors rookie Gradey Dick, this might not be the last time we see the young hooper star in a music video.

When Gradey Dick was in high school, he began to draw the attention of fans. He spent two years at Wichita Collegiate School, where he averaged 20 points per game. He later relocated to Sunrise Christian Academy, where he completed his high school education.

Dick participated in the McDonald’s All-American Game and was named Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2022.

He got scholarship offers from numerous institutions as a five-star prospect, including Baylor, Iowa State, and Kansas. Dick eventually decided to commit to Kansas and become a Jayhawk.

Aside from his stellar performance on offense, he also displayed his two-way asset. Dick averaged 1.5 steals per game, which increased his value.

He struggled on debut during the NBA’s annual Summer League, collecting 10 points on 3-12 shooting against the Chicago Bulls. He did, however, demonstrate his defensive abilities by stealing three balls. In the following game, he struggled once more, scoring only 11 points on 5-13 shooting.

He ultimately made amends in the Raptors’ fourth Summer League game against the Detroit Pistons. Dick finished with 22 points on 8-19 shooting, seven rebounds, and three assists.

He backed up his outstanding effort against the Golden State Warriors with 21 points, five rebounds, and two steals. He also went 8-16 from the field and 3-5 from beyond the arc.

The Toronto Raptors will hope that Gradey Dick can develop into a formidable two-way player based on his collegiate and Summer League accomplishments.
