Charlie Puth, an American singer-songwriter, proposed to his longterm girlfriend Brooke Sansone. According to People, the 31-year-old singer posted on Instagram that he proposed to her in New York City.
“I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes,” wrote Puth, captioning a series of photos of him and Sansone celebrating at Lucali in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. “I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever,” he added.
The first image from the charming carousel of photos, depicting Puth and Sansone in a selfie, clearly showed Sansone’s engagement ring on her left hand. In another snap, Puth published a close-up of the teardrop-shaped ring, capturing Sansome’s hand as she reached for a second piece of pepperoni pizza.
According to People, in the final photo, the duo had their own Lady and the Tramp moment, biting into the same slice of pizza while smiling broadly.
Following their happy news, the musician’s celebrity friends were quick to express their congratulations to him and Sansone, with John Legend posting in the comments section, “Congratulations!!” Their engagement announcement comes after they were seen out and about in New York City together on Wednesday.
The ‘Light Switch’ singer made his relationship with Sansone Instagram official in December 2022, sharing a set of photographs of the couple took in a photo booth while celebrating his 31st birthday, according to People.
