V, a member of the hugely popular K-pop group BTS, has been named a new Celine ambassador. When Elle Korea revealed that he will be the cover model for their upcoming issue, he also became an international sensation and a best-seller.
The magazine’s mysterious caption, “V Is Coming,” which first teased the news, caused it to sell out in numerous regions before it was even published. They then unveiled the three cover images to confirm the news.
The global icon revealed a number of his magazine cover portraits on Thursday, and he still manages to look every bit the heartthrob. Although the photoshoot’s theme is unknown, BTS’s V displays his impeccable sense of style while playing with denim and leather. In the main feature, he gives the camera an intense stare while appearing to have bruises on his face.
The celebrity is wearing Celine, for which he was appointed as the new ambassador around the same time: “V, the biggest and the newest #CelineBoy chose to be the cover star of ELLE Korea’s April issue as his official activity with CELINE…”
After V made a dazzling appearance at Celine’s Paris Fashion Week event the previous year, fans had already speculated that a cooperation between V and Celine may be in the works.
