Since 1986, Canadian actor, singer, and philanthropist Keanu Reeves, 58, has enchanted audiences in a variety of disciplines. The notoriously secretive actor will return to one of his most well-known roles as the titular assassin in “John Wick: Chapter 4,” which will be released on March 24.
The previous three incarnations brought in $80 million, $171 million, and $327 million, respectively. According to ScreenRant, this movie had a $90 million budget but might make around $600 million at the box office.Along with his roles in the Bill & Ted films, the Matrix series, “My Own Private Idaho,” “Point Break,” “Speed,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Constantine,” “The Lake House,” “The Watcher,” “The Gift,” “The Devil’s Advocate,” “Sweet November,” “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “The Replacements,” and “Hardball,” Reeves has appeared in over 40 films.
Only $3,000 was paid to him for “Youngblood,” but $95,000 was earned for the role of Ted. For “Speed,” he was paid $1.2 million, and the sum continued to rise after that.
In addition, he has published two books, “Ode to Happiness” and “Shadows.” Reeves even had his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005.Reeves doesn’t have a reputation for being a huge spender.
The Stand Up to Cancer Foundation and the SickKids Foundation are just a couple of the causes he routinely donates to. In addition, he likes to ride motorcycles and owns two or more Norton Commandos. Reeves is unique in that he practises martial arts and enjoys pulling off his own stunts. It is amazing that there haven’t been more reports of set injuries given his roles in so many action movies.
For many years, Reeves was homeless. When he wasn’t filming, he resided for four years at the Châteaux Marmont in Los Angeles. In 2003, he spent $8 million on a 5,607-square-foot home in the Hollywood Hills.
