Kissing Booth actress Joey King will star alongside Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron in the upcoming romantic comedy movie A Family Affair. The movie was originally slated to release in November 2023, however, due to some reshoots, it has been delayed and will premiere on Netflix in June 2024. Here’s everything we know so far.
Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Alyssa Altman are producing Roth/Kirschenbaum films. Chase Paris, Tara Feldstein, and Rich Delia serve as casting directors on the project. Joe Roth and Andrea Wertheim are also listed as producers.
A Family Affair is directed by Oscar nominee Richard LaGravenese, who is known for helming P.S. I Love You, Paris je t’aime, Freedom Writers, and others. He has also been credited as co- writer for the script alongside Carrie Solomon.
The rights of the film were bought by Netflix in early 2022 and announced the movie in June 2022.
When will A Family Affair release on Netflix?
The streaming giant had announced in January that the film would have a world wide premiere on November 17, 2023. According to one of the crew member, the movie was initially due to be released in early 2023.
However, it was learned in July 2023, that the release date has been postponed. It can now be confirmed that it will premiere on June 28th 2024.
