
Bollywood veteran Dilip Kumar died on Wednesday morning at Hinduja hospital, Khar. The entire Bollywood industry expressed their grief and gave condolences to the family. Many of them shared precious moments spent with the actor. Shabana Azmi also recently shared a throwback picture on her Instagram handle.
In the picture, the actress was seen with the late actor Dilip Kumar. Both of them visited politician Sharad Pawar amidst the Mumbai riots. We can see some files in the hands of both the actors, while they were talking to the politician. She shared the picture and wrote, “During the Mumbai riots #Dilip Saheb and me with #Sharad Pawar Ji.”

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi mourned the demise of the actor by tweeting, “Adieu Dilip Saab . Unknown to you I have been your Eklavya. Thank you for the movies. Thank you for the language . Thank you for the dignity. Thank you for being socially responsible. Thank you,” with joining hands emoji.

The actress was also one of the Bollywood celebrities to visit the late actor’s house after his demise and offer condolences to the family. Actors like Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Paresh Rawal, and many others offered their condolences over social media.
Shabana Azmi was last seen in a prominent role in Netflix’s ‘Kaali Khuhi’. The movie was written and directed by Terrie Samundra. Her recent short film, Sheer Qorma, won the Best Short Film Audience Award at the Frameline Fest. It was based on the lives of the LGBTQIA+ community, also got selected for BAFTA.
