When Aishwarya Rai slammed a journalist as he insulted her for not striking a chord with “KhanDaans”

During an interview, Aishwarya Rai once became irritated with a journalist’s strange questions and responded to him with the sassiest answers. Details within!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has dominated the film industry for several decades. Her unmatched beauty and acting skills made her one of the Hindi film industry’s most sought-after actresses. Aishwarya was also renowned for her scandalous romantic relationships with Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. But even after splitting up with both stars, Aishwarya couldn’t help but be reminded of her troubled past.

Aishwarya Rai and journalist Chetan Sharma had a conversation back in 2004. Aishwarya was questioned by the interviewer on rumours that she didn’t connect with the “Khan-daans,” or Salman, Aamir, and Rukh Khan. The actress, though, was spotted shaking her head in shock. She furiously replied, “You guys enjoy all this drama. So, I guess you can keep this going and keep yourself entertained.”

There were a lot of rumours at the time that Aishwarya had been substituted for roles opposite the Bollywood Khans in films like Mangal Pandey and Kal Ho Na Ho. The actress was irritated that the interviewer brought up that subject without feeling guilty about it. However, according to Aishwarya, things were different then since she had a quarrel with the producer, and he even apologised to her. To this, Aishwarya replied, “The producer rendered me an apology for the fact that he went out of line in speaking the way that he did to the media because of the pressures that he went through. There was a disagreement between him and my agents and I had not received the script at all.”

Then, mockingly referring to Aishwarya’s favourite dog, Chetan questioned her about the “latest sunshine” in her life. In response, the actress said that she had lived with her pet for the previous two years. However, the interviewer continued to irritate her saying, “That’s been given to you, I believe, by Vivek Oberoi.”Aishwarya was offended by the journalist’s inquisitive behaviour, responded sarcastically, and asked, “Why don’t you just wait for an autobiography?”

Chetan Sharma often interrupted Aishwarya Rai during the interview, cutting her speech short. The actress maintained her cool and responded with the utmost grace despite his outrageous insulting behaviour that went beyond all bounds. If rumours are to be believed, the strange and improper questions caused Aishwarya’s team to attempt to end the interview. The interview caused chaos, and the interviewer was subsequently fired.
