According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, it has been known that the makers are in talks for a sequel to Humraaz. After 22 years, Abbas-Mustan has joined forces with Ratan Jain to develop the script for the same. The duo have explored multiple ideas for Humraaz 2.
After a lot of research and analysis, the makers have stuck to exceeding the original story. As they weren’t able to find suitable actors for the sequel, the makers decided to continue with the first instalment. This will also turn out to be more spectacular.
The report also suggested that, as the basic structure of the script has been finalized, they will start approaching the actors for the same. However, at this moment it is unknown if the second instalment will be a sequel or part of a franchise. Ratan Jain and Abbas-Mustan are in talks about bringing back the old cast for the making of Humraaz 2.
