YouTuber Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern on social media, has reacted to being abused by Bigg Boss OTT 2 participant Elvish Yadav. For those who are unaware, a video went viral on Friday showing Elvish punching and kicking a YouTuber. Gurugram Police have also booked the former for assault. The police reportedly filed a FIR against Elvish under IPC sections 147, 149, 323 and 506.
Maxtern responded to Elvish’s FIR in a video posted on Friday, claiming that the sections under which he was booked are ‘bailable’. He stated that, despite clear proof of an attempted murder, no non-bailable charges were included.
Maxtern alleged that Elvish ‘openly’ threatened him with death, but no significant action was taken against him. He labelled him a ‘criminal’ and inquired whether the Haryana government was attempting to ‘protect’ him.
He wrote on X, “I was brutally attacked and assaulted by @ElvishYadav, who openly issued death threats to me. All the evidence is available on the internet. But when I went to the police station to file an FIR, the SHO lodged it under IPC 147, 149, 323, and 506. Unfortunately, these are bailable sections, and despite clear evidence of an attempt to murder, no non-bailable charges were included.”
Tagging Gurugram Police and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, he further wrote, “Why haven’t murder charges been included in the FIR? Is this due to the influence of money and support from the state government? Is the Haryana government potentially protecting a criminal? I request @DC_Gurugram @gurgaonpolice @anilvijminister @mlkhattar to register an FIR against Elvish with a non-bailable section for attempt to murder and #ArrestElvishYadav. If anything unfortunate happens to me in the future, Elvish Yadav should be held accountable.”

In the video, Elvish enters a room and walks right towards Maxtern. Before he could do anything, the former started hitting and kicking him, and several other men followed in.
Elvish and his group can be seen throwing Maxtern to the ground and torturing him while repeatedly punching and slapping him.
In a previous video, Maxtern alleged that Elvish had threatened to murder him. It all started when Maxtern targeted Elvish over his relationship with Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui.
Maxtern called him a ‘hypocrite’ for pretending to be a strong Hindu and a devotee of Lord Ram, while also being acquainted with the comedian, who had come under public scrutiny for his objectionable jokes on Lord Ram and Mata Sita.
