According to several media sources, some Ramayan actors have already begun shooting for the film, and Ranbir will join them shortly. In fact, several photos of Lara Dutta and Arun Govil from the sets have gone viral. However, the makers have maintained secrecy about the project.

According to reports, a Rs 11 crore set has been built for Ramayan, with the makers attempting to bring the city of Ayodhya alive. It was previously reported that the film will be released in three parts, with a significant portion of the first segment shot on the Ayodhya set.

Ranbir is anticipated to start shooting for his role in the second or third week of April. Sai Pallavi, who will be seen as Mata Sita in the film, will reportedly join the shoot in July.

The first half of the Ramayan will centre on Lord Ram’s youth, marriage to Sita, exile, and, eventually, Sita’s kidnapping. The film’s makers have yet to make an official statement, but if reports are to be believed, one will be made soon.

Ranbir last appeared in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Ranbir was not only praised for his performance as Ranvijay Singh, but he also won multiple prizes for it. He will play Aziz in Animal Park, the sequel to Animal, which has yet to be released.
