Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu married her longtime lover, badminton star Mathias Boe, on March 23 in Udaipur, and while the couple has yet to publish official wedding photos, a new video from the varmala ceremony has emerged online. In the video, Taapsee is seen dancing her heart out as she walks towards her groom, who is waiting for her on the ramp.
The now-viral video appears to have been recorded by one of the guests at the tiny ceremony. Taapsee is dressed in a traditional red salwar suit, while Mathias wears an ivory sherwani with a’sehra’.

Taapsee and her bridesmaids approached Mathias, and the two exchanged garlands. The groom was spotted laying a sweet kiss on the actress’ cheeks, and the two even danced and swung while being showered with rose petals.
Taapsee donned a crimson traditional Punjabi dress with a heavy gold border and a matching dupatta to her wedding. She can also be seen wearing a thick golden kaleera and a traditional Punjabi paranda. Her bridesmaids walked her to the mandap, carrying a crimson chaadar above her head.
Taapsee has been posting on her social media accounts on a regular basis, but she has kept the details of her wedding private.
The wedding in Udaipur was attended by the bride and groom’s closest friends and family members, including filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Kanika Dhillon, Pavail Gulati, and others.
Taapsee and Mathias fell in love in 2013 and have maintained their relationship ever since. While they never shied away from admitting their connection in public, Mathias preferred to avoid the spotlight most of the time.
Mathias is a well-known badminton player from Denmark, and after winning numerous titles and medals, he announced his retirement in 2020. He currently serves as the men’s doubles coach for India’s national badminton team.
