Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth made news after announcing their engagement on social media. Aditi and Siddharth are making full-fledged public appearances while they are out and about.
On that note, Aditi and Siddharth walked on the red carpet for MAMI Select’s special screening. The couple posed hand in hand at their first public appearance since their engagement.
The Heeramandi actor attended the occasion in a black strapless top and black bell-bottom trousers. Aditi looked radiant while wearing minimal makeup and a plain hairstyle. Call it the new engagement effect with Sid, but she looked stunning at the red carpet affair. On the other side, the Rang De Basanti star dressed casually for the celebration. Sid dressed simply in a t-shirt and cargo pants, adding a denim jacket and attractive trainers to complete the look.

On March 28, Aditi and Siddharth announced their engagement, which took everyone by surprise. Siddharth revealed his secret engagement during an event in Chennai (via Hindustan Times).
The Rang De Basanti actor clarified that it was private and not secret, saying, “Many told me we had done this (get engaged) in secret. There’s a big difference between doing something privately with family and in secret. The ones whom we didn’t invite think it’s a secret, but the ones who were there know it was private.”
When asked about their wedding date, Siddharth replied, “The wedding date will depend on the elders (of the family) and what they say. It isn’t like a shooting date I can decide on, it’s a lifetime date. It will happen at the right time once they decide.”
