Star Chef Vikas Khanna is not only famous for being honored with Michelin Star, but is also known for headlining a restaurant, Bungalow, in New York City, The United States.
Recently, in an conversation with BBC, the chef was asked that since he does not come from rich family, did his sense of hunger came from India? Khanna, in a sassy way, replied, ‘Not from India! My sense of hunger came from New York.’
The star chef explained that he hails from Amritsar, Punjab, where everyone is fed in langars. However, when he landed in New York, he struggled with food. “And during those days, I learned the true meaning of hunger,” he concluded sending the BBC anchor into frenzy.
