Nitesh Tiwari is gearing up for his upcoming pan-India film Ramayana. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in key roles. According to recent reports, it has been known that Vijay Sethupathi will also be joining the star cast. The actor will essay the role of Ravana’s brother Vibhishana.
The filmmaker presented Vijay with the script and narrated his vision for creating Ramayana as the best cinematic experience. Vijay is impressed with the script and the idea of Nitesh to make a wonderful spectacle with mesmerizing visuals. The actor has shown interest in the film and in considering his role.
Earlier, it was also reported that Nitesh wanted to cast Bobby Deol for the role of Kumbhkaran. However, Animal fame didn’t sign up for the movie. It is also being reported that the makers of the movie are considering Sunny Deol for the respective roles.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana’s shooting will begin in March 2024. The shooting will continue till May.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film was highly anticipated by the audience due to the director’s prior hit film Andhadhun. Masses were expecting the same kind of thrill and excitement even from this film.
The movie was released in two languages- Hindi and Tamil. Both versions include different sets of supporting actors.
