One of the best actors in the Bollywood film industry, Vicky Kaushal makes sure he is completely dedicated to his craft. The actor is said to be an admirer of Aamir Khan and he doesn’t leave any stone unturned when it comes to achieving perfection in his own work.
Many times, this approach leads him into getting physically hurt while shooting a scene but little does the actor care about his injuries. The same happened when he was filming the scene for Manmarziyaan by Anurag Kashyap.
Happened so, one journalist happened to notice that a saucepan cut Vicky’s cheek due to which he started bleeding but nonetheless he continued to shoot. The reporter took to Twitter to confirm that if that was the case and he asked the Anurag Kashyap and Vicky Kaushal for the same.
The reporter compared the dedication and acting of the actor to that of Leonardo Dicaprio. He wrote, “Did @vickykaushal09 cut his cheek with the saucepan while shooting this scene cuz it does bounce off & hit exactly where he’s bleeding, @anuragkashyap72? If yes, then this is some Leonardo-Dicaprio-cutting-his-hand-in-Django-Unchained-&-not-breaking-character-levels-of-acting.”
Anurag replied to the tweet, writing, “Yes he did.”
While Vicky, on the other hand, retweeted the post and said, “I didn’t realise it while doing the scene, but glad that @anuragkashyap72 didn’t say “cut”. :)”
