The Kannada actors Hariprriya and Vasishta N Simha recently announced their engagement in early December, formalising their romance after falling in love on the set of their movie Yada Yadahi. The couple has kept their wedding plans under secret, except for a few posts to confirm their relationship status.
The couple is busy sending out invitations to their loved ones as they get ready to wed on January 26 at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda temple-ashram in the heritage city of Dattanagar, Mysuru. A little over 100 people from both sides will attend their private wedding, just like their engagement ceremony.
Sources claim that the couple chose a simple temple wedding since they are both spiritual, uncomplicated, and prefer to avoid the spotlight. Before settling on the Mysuru temple-ashram, they investigated several potential sites. They went to the ashram to receive Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamij’s blessings. The couple will hold a reception in Bengaluru for friends and business associates in the first week of February.
Hariprriya released a video of getting her nose pierced, which is when their relationship with Vasishta initially came to light. She claimed to have finally achieved a long-standing goal at the time, and some sources indicated that it was for a movie role. It turns out that Vasishta participated in some sort of pre-wedding ritual that involved it. He even consoled her as she had the new ornament fixed, as seen, and heard. The pair got engaged on December 3rd in Hariprriya’s house, and they were both seen wearing a custom lion theme engagement ring.
