Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun was recently arrested by Hyderabad police following a stampede-like situation, that happened during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which caused life of a woman.
Now, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has come out in support of Allu Arjun and noted that the whole blame cannot be put on the actor. Varun, who is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Baby John, recently during an interaction with media, noted that responsibility should be on the event management as well, since the actor cannot be blamed for everything and should not be the only one to blame.
Varun also remarked that the stampede incident was rather unfortunate and shared his condolences to the family of deceased.
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), after a complaint was lodged by the family members of the woman, who lost her life in stampede.
The unfortunate incident happened on December 4,when a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, lost her life, and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized following a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during an event featuring actor Allu Arjun. The incident occurred as a massive crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor.
