Earlier today, tv actress and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Divya Bhatnagar passed away after putting up a brave battle against Coronavirus. The 34-year-old actress had tested positive on 28th November and soon was shifted to a hospital as her condition was critical. She was on a ventilator as her temperature and oxygen levels were a concern. She was first admitted to SRV Hospital, Goregaon but later shifted to Seven Hills Hospital.
Her friend Yuvraj Raghuvanshi told SpotboyE about her demise and said, “Divya passed away at 3 am in the night. She had been shifted to Seven Hills Hospital and was suffering from breathing issues since 2 and at 3 doctors declared her dead. It’s a big shock for me and her family. May her soul rest in peace.”
Earlier her brother Yuvraj Raghuvanshi told TOI about her condition. He told them, “We have shifted Divya to another hospital. She was hospitalised on November 26 and tested positive for COVID-19 on November 28. She was already suffering from pneumonia, which has worsened owing to coronavirus. Initially, she was on non-invasive ventilation to support her breathing but is on the ventilator now because of all the exertion of shifting hospitals. We want her to recover from pneumonia, which has spread.”
Divya tied the knot to Gagan, an artiste manager after five years of courtship. But in a recent interview, her mother claimed that he was a fraud and left her. Her co-actors Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shilpa Shirodkar also took to their social media accounts to share their condolences.
