TMKOC star Gurucharan Singh finally returns home after almost one month; ‘Had gone on a spiritual journey,’ says Delhi Police

On April 22, the actor left his house in Delhi to catch a flight to Mumbai, but he did not arrive at the airport or return home.

According to ANI, Gurucharan Singh, who stars in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, went home on Friday, May 17. The television actor went missing on April 22. The cops have taken his statement in court.

According to reports citing Delhi police, Gurucharan Singh claimed to have left home on a spiritual tour.

Gurucharan Singh is well-known for his performance as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. On April 22, he left his house in Delhi to catch a flight to Mumbai, but he did not arrive at the airport or return home.

His sudden disappearance alarmed both his family and his co-stars. All of his loved ones wished for his safe homecoming at the earliest.

The actor’s family was shocked and concerned by his sudden departure. Recently, his father, Hargit Singh, told the media that his family is impatiently awaiting a news from the authorities on his son. “What has happened is very shocking, and we don’t know how to deal with it,” he told the ETimes.

While expressing his concern and wishing for his son’s early return home, the actor’s father added, “Hum sab bahut pareshaan hain and we are impatiently waiting for an update from the police. Hum uske wapas aane ka intezaar kar rahe hai.”

The Delhi police had also visited the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma sets to learn more about the actor’s unpaid bills. However, during their visit, they discovered that Gurucharan’s debts had been paid in full some time ago.

Gurucharan exited the show a few years ago. Since leaving the sitcom, he has not appeared in any other shows. Gurucharan became a household name, and his portrayal of Roshan Sodhi was well received by the audience.
