Farah Khan and Shah Rukh as well know are long-lived friends even before Shah Rukh played Major Ram in Farah’s first directorial, Main Hoon Na in 2004. Shah Rukh and Farah first met on the sets of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, a love story that starred Srk when he wasn’t a superstar. Since then their friendship has grown multiple folds by going through ups and downs. In many interviews and awards shows Farah has spoken about her love for Shah Rukh and their friendship. Their friendship also resulted in major box office hits of Shah Rukh’s career like Om Shanti Om in 2007 and Happy New Year in 2014.
Recently we got another evidence of their friendship when Farah shared a video on Instagram. In the video, Farah and Shah Rukh can be seen dancing together on their film, Main Hoon Na’s Title song. She captioned the post, “With my Most favourite.. one & only @iamsrk (black heart emoji) there’s No1 like you.. #mainhoonna #farahkefundays”. The video starts with Shah Rukh lip-syncing on the song and posing his typical SRK style with hands spread wide apart.

Farah started her career as a choreographer but also ventured into the direction. Even for this shift in her career she thanks Shah Rukh for motivating her that she could excel in direction. Their friendship led to the launch of one of the current generations most desirable actresses, Deepika Padukone. In an interview, Farah recalls how she took Deepika to Mannat for a meeting with Shah Rukh for casting her in the film.
