The threat of bombing Big B’s Jalsa, CST, Dadar and Byculla railway station found to be a bluff

On Friday evening, a caller threatened Mumbai Police to bomb Big B’s bungalow, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar and Byculla railway station which ultimately was found to be a bluff

It seems Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalows are always in the news headlines. Earlier his latest bungalow Pratiksha broke the headlines because BMC announced that they would be demolishing a part of the bungalow for the expansion of the road. And now, his other bungalow “Jalsa’ is in the news along with three major railway stations of Mumbai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST), Dadar and Byculla.

On Friday evening a random call arrived which threatened Mumbai Police with bombing Big B’s Jalsa, CST, Dadar and Byculla railway station. Acting on the information as quickly as possible Mumbai Police was put to alert.

One of the police officials said, “After getting the call, the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), dog squads and local police personnel rushed to these locations and carried out searches.”

To be safe from all the ends Mumbai Police left no stone unturned, they even sent a team of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Quick Response Team (QRT) to Azad Maidan and Marine Drive for a search operation. The search operation lasted for few hours after which they found this to be some mischief. The Mumbai Police however got hold of the caller by tracking his location that showed the Shil Phata area in the vicinity of  Mumbra in the Thane district.

While both accused have been found, one of them is a truck driver by profession belonging to the Marathwada of Maharashtra. The Police have registered an FIR against them and soon charges will be attached.
