The Kapil Sharma Show restarts shoot, comedian reveals, wife Ginni Chatrath pushed him to resume work

The Kapil Sharma fans heaved a sigh of relief as the comedian got back to the sets. The lockdown and quarantine became bearable and more enjoyable with Kapil’s jokes. The team has gathered and the shoot for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has kickstarted after a halt of four months owing to the lockdown announced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The comedian has also started making everyone laugh with his quarantine stories. With Kapil’s sly jokes one can get a glimpse of comedian’s four months in lockdown with his wife Ginni Chatrath and baby girl, Anayra.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Kapil cracked everyone up into bubbles of laughter, while answering interviewers question ‘how he convinced his wife Ginni for him to resume work?’. In his response, the comedian joked that it was his wife who pushed him to go back to work, saying “Usi ne toh bheja ki kaam dhandha karo sar kha gaye mera 4 mahine se.”

He further mentioned that he was unsure about resuming the shoots so soon. But his wife, Ginni motivated him and pushed him to the sets. Kapil then added that the show had to resume shooting one day or the other. Addressing the uncertainty, the comedian said, “if even then it was to be done like that, then why not start it sooner.”

Kapil also shared moments of the father-daughter bond, which he was able to work on in these past four months. He ended the interview with the mention of a little heart-breaking event that takes place every day after he returns from work, his daughter looks at him wondering why he is not picking her up. But the comedian was adamant to avoid it for a bit like a safety precaution amid the pandemic.
