Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, was denied bail on October 8th for the Mumbai cruise ship drug case. Aryan Khan, along with 7 others, was arrested on October 3rd for the same. Allegedly, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are going through a tough time. They are “devastated” by the news and have had “sleepless nights”, worrying about their son, who is currently in Arthus Road Jail.
After the hearing ended today, Pooja Dadlani, along with Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde, were spotted outside the venue. Meanwhile, Salman Khan paid another to Shah Rukh at Mannat on Tuesday, accompanied by father Salim Khan. This counts the third time that Shah Rukh Khan has visited SRK. Salman Khan has truly been showing unwavering support to the family.
Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans, co-stars, who have worked with him before, and friends from the industry have been standing in support all this time. Bollywood personalities like Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Gupta, Ali Fazal, Shekhar Suman, Vishal Dadlani, Pooja Bhatt and Hansal Mehta among others showed solidarity with SRK. Veteran actor-politician Raj Babbar, 69 years-old, took to Twitter on Sunday to extend his support to Shah Rukh. “He came, faced and achieved a conquest unparalleled. I have known (Shah Rukh Khan) for long to know hardships won’t deter his soul. As the world teaches his young boy through wounds, I am sure the fighter’s son will definitely fight back. Blessings to the young man.”
After Aryan was denied bail by the magistrate’s court, Karan Johar visited SRK’s bungalow Mannat. Karan and SRK have been close friends for several years. Karan was abroad when Aryan was first arrested but rushed back as soon as he heard the news.
Aryan’s arrest, according to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, has left Shah Rukh “feeling helpless and broken”. Although King Khan’s family has been avoiding the media glare from quite some time, they have been feeling exhaused and devasted by the whole controversy.
