On March 22, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu tied the knot in a private ceremony in Udaipur with her longtime lover, badminton champion Mathias Boe. On Thursday, she made her first public appearance in the city as a newlywed.
Taapsee showed off her post-wedding glow in a stunning red saree with a golden border when she arrived alone at the wedding reception of filmmaker Anand Pandit’s daughter. The actress was greeted with congratulations from the paparazzi as soon as she arrived at the location, and she was spotted blushing as she thanked them all.
The paparazzi proceeded to question Mathias, saying, “Taapsee ji, sir nahi aaye?” “Tum mujhe marwaoge ek din,” the actress shot back, trying her hardest not to blush.
For those who are unaware, Taapsee has not yet shared photos from their wedding with Mathias. However, the actress hinted in a recent interview that she might decide not to publish them at all because she is not “mentally prepared” for them.
She also disclosed that she had never intended to keep her wedding “secret” and that her main goal had been to have an intimate gathering with her closest friends and family.
Even though Taapsee may not have shared her wedding pictures and videos, some of the guests’ images from the celebration have made their way online.
The Manmarziyaan actress danced her way to her fiancé Mathias, who was wearing an ivory sherwani with a sehra, while costumed as a traditional Punjabi bride in a crimson and golden outfit in one of the films.
According to reports, the couple honoured Mathias’s heritage and culture by having a Danish wedding.
