Swara Bhasker takes a dig at Shah Rukh Khan’s character ‘Raj’ in DDLJ

Actor Swara Bhasker criticized ‘Raj’, in the most successful film DDLJ, although she is a big fan of the movie.

One of the most successful films in the history of Indian cinema Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has recently completed its 25 years in Bollywood on 20th October 2020. Even today the film is followed across the world. Meanwhile, actor Swara Bhasker who is a big fan of DDLJ has been tweeting about the film since it has completed its 25th anniversary. She has been sharing posts on her favourite dialogues from the movie. Her recent tweet read, “Find a guy who looks at you the way Raj looks at Simran!!!! #DDLJ25”, with heart-eyes-shaped emoji. Replying to Swara’s tweet, a Twitter user highlighted a few problematic traits of ‘Raj’ as Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He wrote, “Raj does the following to Simran: 1. Lie that he raped her as a joke 2. Tears her clothes in public ( accidentally, but who pulls a woman by the back of her dress anyway?) 3. Forces her to dance, and in the process gropes her and feels up her bare back Why do women love creeps?” Have a look at the post:

On the other hand, Swara also admitted that Raj’s behaviour was not good and criticized Shah Rukh’s character in the film for the same. She retweeted on the same and wrote, “Sadly u r right.. I mean any what all Raj does.. This is precisely the power of #Bollywood right? It makes stalking seem romantic.
