Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker and her husband, Fahad Ahmad have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Swara gave birth to her first child on September 23.
According to reports, the couple announced the wonderful news to their fans and followers in an official statement. They referred to their daughter as their “greatest joy and blessing.”
The couple has named their daughter Raabiya, after the Sufi mystic Rabia Basri. The name also means spring and/or Queen.
A source close to their family informed paparazzo Viral Bhayani, “Swara and Fahad are delighted to announce the arrival of their greatest joy & blessing : a baby girl born on 23rd September 2023 . She’s the cutest, most precious thing & they cannot take their eyes off her.”
Revealing the meaning of her name, the source revealed, “They’ve named her Raabiya- after the Sufi mystic Rabia Basri. The name also means Spring and/ or Queen. With full hearts the new parents express their gratitude for the support and love they’ve received and look forward to this life changing journey of parenthood together.”
Swara revealed in February that she would marry political activist Fahad Ahmad in court on January 6, 2023. Fahad Ahmad is the state youth president of the Samajwadi Party. Swara said in an Instagram video telling their love story that the two met during a protest and their paths kept crossing till they fell in love with each other.
