Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who has been away from the entertainment industry for a while, is about to make a comeback on television with the upcoming season of the reality series “Roadies.”

Rhea spent a month in jail after actor Sushant Singh Rajput died after being charged with aiding his suicide. Sushant and Rhea dated up till the time of the actor’s passing.

Rhea announced her return to work with “Roadies 19” as one of the gang leaders on Monday, and it appears that Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh was not pleased.

In a video posted on Monday, Rhea revealed that she would be appearing in “Roadies 19” as one of the gang bosses. She can be heard asking in the video,  “Aapko kya laga main vapas nahi aaungi, darr jaungi? Darne ki baari kisi aur ki hai.”

In response to the video, Sushant’s sister Priyanka posted on her Twitter account that Rhea is not afraid because a powerful person is there by her side.

“Why will you be afraid? You were, are, and will continue to be a prostitute. But the question here is who are your consumers? Only some ruler can give this courage,” she wrote in Hindi. She added that the person behind the delays in the probe into Sushant’s death is “obvious” in her words.

On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was discovered at his home in Bandra. He allegedly hanged himself, but his family then filed a lawsuit against Rhea for cheating, fraud, and aiding suicide.

Rhea was detained as the inquiry got underway, and officials added that she helped Sushant and others get drugs through her.

Rhea was later granted bail, but the CBI, Enforcement Directorate, and Narcotics Control Bureau are still looking into the circumstances surrounding Sushant’s death.
