Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film director Mukesh Chhabra pens a heartfelt note for the actor

Director of Sushant’s last movie, Mukhesh Chhabra penned down a heart-warming note for the late actor as he shared the movie’s poster. Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film, Dil Bechara, is yet to be released and the filmmakers shared a brand new poster on Thursday. The movie is the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars, in which Sushant will be starring alongside Sanjana Sanghi.

Dil Bechara is director Mukhesh Chhabra’s debut film as a director in the industry, while recalling the conversation with Sushant, the director wrote a heartfelt note for the late actor as he shared the movie’s poster. The director disclosed that Sushant kept his promise to star in Mukesh’s debut movie, but he couldn’t believe that he had to release the movie without Sushant.

The poster’s caption read, “Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director but he was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. We had been close right from Kai Po Che to Dil Bechara. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be releasing this film without him.”

Adding to this the director determined to celebrate the late actor with his last work, “There can be no better way to celebrate him and his talent. He always showered immense love on me while I was making it and his love will guide us as we release it. And I’m glad that the Producers have made it available for everyone to watch. We are going to love and celebrate you my friend. I can visualise you with your beautiful smile blessing us from up above. Love you.”

The filmmakers have decided to release the movie on OTT platform, Disney Plus Hotstar. Sushant’s fans were heart-broken that the movie will not be able to hit screen in the theaters but on the other side, now the movie will be available for everyone to enjoy.
