Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death was a shock to the industry which was already grieving Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. The actor committed suicide on June14 at his Bandra residence. The news broke out on social media leaving everyone in aghast.
The investigation over the death of the talented actor is underway and the Mumbai Police is currently unfolding different angles and professional rivalry is among it. Many have come up with their own theories and reasons that pushed Sushant to take such a drastic step. The most talked about is the nepotism in the industry which is believed to be the reason that pushed the actor over the edge.
Amid all the theories that are floating on social media, Producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta has shown his intention behind making the movie on this. The producer is keen to know how the things turn out in future, but for the time being have a title in mind. The movie which will inspired with the current scenario and Sushants life is most likely to be titled ‘Suicide or Murder?’.
In an interview with Navbharat time, even director Shamik Maulik revealed his intention to do a film on industry’s nepotism and how he wants to expose Bollywood through his next project, “I want to break this gang. My story will show everything that was done wrong with Sushant. That boy was forced to end his life. He was bullied by people and boycotted and was even fired from several films back-to-back,” he said.
“The film is not a biopic but is rather inspired by Sushant’s life. It will spill the beans on many secrets of the film industry.” he added.
