Supriya Pathak calls her stepson Shahid as ‘our main anchor’

Supriya Pathak called her stepson, Shahid Kapoor as the main anchor of their family and also praised Mira Rajput’s cooking skills.

Supriya Pathak, in a recent interview with Indian Express, opened up about her views on her stepson Shahid Kapoor and his wife Miraj Rajput. She referred to Shahid as the ‘main anchor’ of their family and also praised Mira Rajput for her cooking skills.

When asked whether her kids talk about movies with Shahid Kapoor, she said, “Of course! Shahid is their brother. He is their elder brother Bhai! He is an integral part of the family. He is our main anchor. It is natural. They are siblings. So, they are constantly around each other. They are like any other siblings. We are a normal family.”

Talking about Mira Rajput’s cooking skills, she said, “She is a great cook. She makes lovely appam and stew and Khao Suey. So yes, I have tasted her haath ka khaana (food she made). But sadly, I don’t know how to click photos and I do not have an Instagram profile, so I cannot share with you guys. But she makes amazing food.”

A few days ago, Mira Rajput shared a picture of Gujrati Thali prepared by Supriya Pathak on her Instagram story. She also praised her mother-in-law and wrote about how delicious the dish was.

Actress Supriya Pathak was married to Pankaj Kapur and has two children, Sanah and Ruhaan. Shahid Kapoor is the son of Pankaj Kapur and Neliima Azeem (Pankaj Kapur’s first wife).

On the work front, Supriya Pathak was recently seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Toofan’ starring Farhan Akhtar that released on Amazon Prime Video last week. The actress will be next seen in the upcoming movie, Mimi, starring Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Pahwa, and Sai Tamhankar. Supriya will be playing Kriti Sanon’s mother in the movie. Mimi is scheduled to release on June 30 on Jio cinema and Netflix.
